The fight-night bonuses for last night’s Ultimate Fighter Finale have been announced. Each award was worth an additional $25,000 and the winners were Roy “Big Country” Nelson, Mark Bocek, Frankie Edgar, and Matt Veach.

In an announcement that lacks any surprise, “Big Country” received the $25,000 Knockout of the Night award. Nelson earned the award with a devastating right hand that dropped fellow Team Rashad teammate, Brendan Schaub. Schaub was dictating the pace early until Big Country took the fight to the ground where he is most comfortable. When the two stood back up Nelson unloaded an overhand right that sent Schaub to the canvas at the 3:45 mark in round one.

Bocek’s victory came at 3:36 in the first round. The Canadian fighter sunk in a rear-naked choke and spoiled the debut of Joe Brammer. Bocek (8-2) is currently riding a three win streak. His two losses have come in the UFC to Mac Danzig and Frankie Edgar, who was part of Fight of the Night.

Edgar took on undefeated Matt Veach. Veach was controlling the fight and won the first round, but Edgar turned it on in the second frame and came out all ready to throw down. At the 2:22 mark, Edgar took Veach’s back and sunk in the fight-ending rear-naked choke.
