Frank Shamrock: Jake Shields is a boring leg humper
In this interview with Fight Magazine, Frank Shamrock talks about the Strikeforce signing of Dan Henderson. Shamrock discusses who Henderson should fight and he even welcomes a bout with Hendo. Shamrock had some harsh words for current Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields. Shamrock stated, “I just want to see anybody beat up Jake Shields.” Shamrock also says that Shields will never get a shot at him, because “I don’t like him.” Shields has previously said Shamrock won’t fight him because he’s a ground fighter. Shamrock answered by saying, “I don’t want to fight Jake because he has no personality and [...]

Unbelievable Cartwheel Knockout
Diego Sanchez introduced the “Yes Cartwheel” on the Countdown to UFC 107 show. Unfortunately for Diego, he was beaten down badly at the event and he never got the chance to show off the move again. Part of me was hoping to see Diego throw a Yes Cartwheel out of desperation to win the fight, of course that didn’t happen. In this video, there is a spectacular knockout that is the result of a cartwheel. I really don’t know how to explain it other than to say, “just watch and enjoy.”

The sport combines wrestling, boxing and open-fingered gloves mostly in three five-minute rounds, and, since [...]

Frank Mir is coming off of a quick and impressive submission victory against Cheick Kongo at UFC 107. The heavyweight came in noticeable bigger with more muscle than ever. Mir was a good twenty pounds bigger than we have come to expect. Reports are circulating that Mir could have his chance at the heavyweight gold as soon as March. Unfortunately for Mir, it is yet another interim [...]
