Reports earlier in the week were beginning to circulate that a UFC 109 bout between heavyweights Mustapha Al-Turk (6-5) and Rolles Gracie (3-0) was in question after Al-Turk was having some visa issues. Today it appears that Al-Turk will be unable to compete and The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights alum Jon Madsen (3-0) is set to step up and fill the void left by Al-Turk. Two mixed martial arts legends and former UFC champions Pat Miletich (29-7-2) and Frank Shamrock (35-10-2) may soon be stepping into the cage for a long overdue match. Marloes Coenen Believes Bout Was Stopped Early
Dutch mixed martial arts star Marloes Coenen suffered a third round TKO defeat at the hands of Strikeforce Women’s Lightweight Champion, Cris Cyborg. Coenen took some time after her fight to give an interview with MMA Fighting. Coenen expresses her belief that the bout was stopped early, but she also makes sure to mention Cyborg deserves all of the credit.

Efrain Escudero vs. Dan Lauzon Possible For UFC 114
Dan Lauzon announced yesterday on his Twitter account that his next bout would take place on May 29 at UFC 114 in Las Vegas. His opponent was not yet named. Rumors are circulating of a potential opponent and we are hearing that TUF 8 winner Efrain Escudero could be matched up against Lauzon for the May bout.
