AUTHOR: | IN: Krzysztof Soszynski, MMA, Stephan Bonnar, UFC | COMMENTS: None Yet

Stephan Bonnar and Krzysztof Soszynski were involved in a bloody slugfest at this past Saturday’s UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez pay-per view event. The bout was brought to a sudden end in the third-round when Soszynski collided heads with Bonnar resulting in a deep gash on Bonnar’s forehead. The blood was spilling everywhere and the referee called an end to the match. No one can disagree with the fight being stopped, but it was ruled a TKO loss for Bonnar after the referee decided the cut was caused by a punch and not the obvious head butt. Bonnar was unhappy [...]

It’s official; Cain Velasquez is now the biggest threat to Brock Lesnar in the heavyweight division. Sorry, Shane Carwin and Junior Dos Santos, but this guy is just a different breed of animal. He made Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira look like a chump, and that’s one of the all-time greats in the division. First the knockout… …then the vampire audition…

AUTHOR: | IN: Michael Bisping, MMA, Wand Fight Team, Wanderlei Silva, Wolfslair | COMMENTS: None Yet

Wanderlei Silva and Michael Bisping had a back and forth battle in the co-main event of UFC 110. Personally, I think I won rounds one and two.” Silva clearly won round three after he dropped Bisping at the bell and round one was in favor of Bisping as he controlled with his takedowns, but round two was a toss up. Silva’s guillotine choke attempt in the closing moments of the second frame [...]
