Andrei Arlovski has once again found an organization to call home. He was at one point considered among the top three heavyweights in the world, but Arlovski struggled in 2009 going 0-2 with two first-round losses via knockout to Strikeforce’s Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers.

According to Sherdog.com, Arlovski is back with Strikeforce:

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski signed a multi-fight, 16-month contract with Strikeforce on Monday, according to sources close to the negotiations.

The report indicates that Arlovski’s first opponent in his return to the promotion will be American Top Team’s Antonio Silva. The bout is rumored for the May 15 Strikeforce card which will be held in St. Louis, Missouri.

Also rumored for the card are two other top heavyweight battles between champion Alistair Overeem and Brett Rogers, as well as Fedor Emelianenko vs. Fabricio Werdum.
