Current Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields was part of an interview with GracieMag.com and the Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu blackbelt shared some revealing information. Shields’ contract with the Strikeforce organization ends after his April 17th title fight with former UFC and PRIDE champion Dan Henderson. Undefeated heavyweight Roger Gracie (2-0) will be making his Strikeforce debut on May 15 against mixed martial arts veteran Kevin “The Monster” Randleman (17-14). Reports circulated earlier today that Rich “Ace” Franklin would be headlining UFC 115 in Montreal against Chuck Liddell. MMAjunkie.com had reported that Tito Ortiz, who was set to face Liddell after season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter, was forced to leave taping of the show before it ended. Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem has not stepped into the organization’s cage 2007. He has been participating in fights for the K-1 and DREAM organizations.
