Montreal,(CA). A capacity crowd packed into the Belle Centre in Montreal Canada for UFC 113. The evening was filled with surprises, as underdogs for the majority, came out on top. -Alan Belcher def. Patrick Cote with a rear naked choke in the middle of the 2nd round. A more dramatic setting couldn’t have been the case in Patrick Cote’s return to his hometown after nearly 2 years away. Continuing the UFC 113 aftermath, UFC president Dana White announced at the post-fight press conference that YouTube sensation and street fighter Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson is likely done in the organization. “That’s probably Kimbo’s last fight in the UFC,” said White following the event. White later went on to give a definitive answer and say that Slice has been released. Kimbo Slice went 1-1 in the organization. Paul “Semtex” Daley lost a decision to Josh Koscheck, but he lost even more after the fight. Not only did he lose the fight, a title shot, and a stint as the next coach on The Ultimate Fighter, but Semtex lost his career in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. It may sound like a sad story at first, but Semtex got what he was asking for. The UFC invades Montreal, Canada this evening for UFC 113 which features the highly anticipated rematch between 205-pound champion Lyoto Machida and top contender Mauricio “Shogun” Rua. The two faced off last October at UFC 104 in a bout that featured the most controversial decision of 2009. Many fans and media members believed that Shogun had won the fight, but judges decision kept the strap around Machida’s waist. The two will look to finally settle the score. Top-ranked, yet troubled middleweight Paulo Filho has confirmed that he has been forced out of his May 13th bout with Hector Lombard at Bellator 18. George St.Pierre will be one coach, and he will face the winner of the Josh Koshcheck vs Paul Daley bout at UFC 113. The Ultimate Fighter in it’s 12th season, will feature all lightweights this time around. St.Pierre and the soon to be opposing coach, will lead teams of 170 lb fighters. TUF season 12 will premeire on September, 15, 2010 on Spike tv.

After 19 months away from the octagon, Montreal native, Patrick Cote’ is making his comeback in front of his hometown fans. Cote’ suffered a serious knee injury facing off against Anderson Silva almost two years ago.   Now, after two knee surgeries, and a rigorous rehabilitation routine, Cote’ will pick-up his career where he left off against Alan Belcher this weekend in Las Vegas, at UFC 113. The father of UFC light-heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida stopped by for an interview with MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani for a video interview. In the interview, Machida explains the benefits of drinking your own urine… appetizing I know. The karate master then proceeds to drink his piss in front of the disgusted Helwani.
