PRESS RELEASE: (Kansas City, KS) The Titan Fighting Championship (www.TitanFighting.com) on Wednesday announced its finalized card for next Friday’s (March 25) seven-bout lineup to air live nationally on HDNet (www.HD.net). The show, branded Titan Fighting Championship 17, will emanate from the historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas and will feature seven pro fights on the HDNet telecast, which will begin at 10 p.m. ET (the night’s undercard will begin at 7 p.m. CT). On of the best referees in the sport, Herb Dean, got the call to be the official for Saturday’s main event bout at UFC 128 according to MMAFighting.com. The bout, which takes place in Newark, New Jersey, will see Shogun Rua take on the fast rising Jon Jones. Shogun will look to add another name to his legendary resume, while the young Jones will look to take the next step to superstardom. If the unthinkable happens and the Rua vs. Jones bout goes to decision, Douglas Crobsy, Cardo Urso and Dave Tirelli will be scoring the bout at cageside.

The “Countdown to UFC 128″ show premieres tonight at 11 pm ET on Spike TV. Main event participants Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Jon Jones will be highlighted as they prepare for their light-heavyweight title fight in Newark, New Jersey. Urijah Faber & Eddie Wineland will also be featured on the special, along with Mirko Cro Cop and Brendan Schaub who will discuss their upcoming heavyweight bout.
UFC Permanently Moves PPV Start Time To 9 pm ET
The move was expected, but it has now become a reality. The UFC will permanently change pay-per-view start times to 9pm ET beginning on April 30 with UFC 129. Behind the idea to move start times forward is the belief that the earlier times will attract more viewers on the east coast.
