‘Mayhem’ Miller Signs With The UFC

Jason “Mayhem” Miller has become the first Strikeforce fighter to make the jump over to the UFC. According to a report by MMAFighting.com, the middleweight contender has reached an agreement to once again join the UFC’s roster. Mayhem is also popular outside of the MMA world with his show, Bully Beatdown, on MTV. His presence in the UFC could interest a new group of viewers. ‘Bellator 41: Warren vs Galvao’ Weigh-In Results

All 16 fighters were on weight for Saturday night’s “Bellator 41: Warren vs Galvao” fight card. The weigh-ins took place at Cocopah Resort and Casino in Yuma, Arizona, which will host tomorrow night’s event. Headlining the night of fights is a featherweight bout between the organization’s champion Joe Warren and Marcos Galvao. Another champion will be in action when Zach Makovsky takes on Chad Robichaux in a non-title bantamweight bout. Also on the card are the two Bellator featherweight tournament semifinals. 2011 UFC Cut List – Sean McCorkle, Mario Miranda, and Kris McCray Released.

Sean McCorkle, Mario Miranda, and TUF 11 Runner Up Kris McCray have all found their release from the worlds largest MMA organization. This coming off their losses last month at Ultimate Fight Night 24 in Seattle, Washington. They are the latest fighters to be released since the recent merger of the WEC and the acquisition of Strikeforce. McCorkle’s UFC record was 1 – 2 with his lone win coming by submission to PRIDE veteran Mark Hunt at UFC 119 in his home state of Indiana.
