Rashad Evans vs. Tito Ortiz is the New Main Event For UFC 133

UFC president Dana White has confirmed via his Twitter account that the new headlining bout at UFC 133 in Philadelphia will be a rematch between Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz.

The two previously faced off at UFC 73 in 2007 and fought to a draw. They will be looking to settle the score at the Wells Fargo Center on August 6th.

Ortiz is fresh off of an impressive submission win over up-and-comer Ryan Bader, while Evans is coming off of two wins, but has not fought since May of 2010.

I am a much bigger fan of this fight than of the Evans-Davis fight.

@fansided If Tito wins, he is in line for one final title shot. Dana and the UFC will reward him. If he loses, he won’t retire. He is coming off a huge victory and taking a big chance facing a top contender. Dana is going to take care of him financially in this fight and give him another chance win, lose, or god forbid another draw.

@JoshSanchez Wow Tito is not wasting time, might as well when he has been actually healthy. If he loses this fight bad, is he done? If he wins, any way Chuck comes out of retirement again?
