Chris Beal and Chris Holdsworth set to scrap on “The Ultimate Fighter”

To paraphrase something Waylon Smithers once said,” That’s it for the women’s fight, now let’s bring on the men!”

On this week’s episode of “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate” Chris Beal, who was the first pick of Ronda Rousey’s team, will face Chris Holdsworth, who was the second pick of Miesha Tate’s team.

In the season premier of TUF, Dana White told the men that they would have to step their up their game and this fight between Beal and Holdsworth could give the men of the show their first big highlight.

Looking at the fight on paper, Beal has more experience and wins, but Holdsworth has finished all of his fights. He also has a momentum going into the match after his Team Tate teammate Julianna Pena submitted Team Rousey’s Shayna Baszler in the last episode.

Beal also complained about an injured hand. If he ends up fighting Holdsworth, this could also be a factor in the fight.

I put the “if” in there because Beal is injured and he could end up being pulled from the competition and replaced, moments before he and Holdsworth were scheduled to fight in the octagon.
