This past year has been a great one for Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino.

She made a successful comeback at Invicta FC 5, defeating Fiona Muxlow in the first round via TKO. She went on to defeat rival Marloes Coenen to become the first Invicta FC Featherweight champion. Most recently, the Cyborg made a return to Muay Thai at Lion Fight 11, Sept. 20.

Despite it being her first kickboxing bout since 2006, Justino overpowered undefeated French fighter Jennifer Colomb, who had been a replacement for Justino’s original opponent Martina Jindrov. After displaying the power, which has helped her become one of MMA’s most dangerous fighters, Justino defeated Colomb in the third round by way of TKO.

Although she has competed in her third combat sporting event, there is still a chance that the Cyborg could fight again before the end of 2013. Invicta Fighting Championships is scheduled to have their next event, Dec. 7, and Justino could be tapped to making the first defense of her featherweight title.

As for her career in Muay Thai, Justino could easily become a world champion in the sport.
