Seems as though the UFC’s luck with injuries and main events have once again taken a downward turn.
The UFC announced that Michael Bisping has been forced out of the main event for UFC Fight Night 30, with Mark Munoz due to injury and will be replaced by former Light Heavyweight Champion, Lyoto Machida.
Machida was to face Tim Kennedy in November – but takes the fight with top middleweight contender Munoz on 30 days notice. With “The Dragon” fighting at Middleweight for the first time in the UFC, a decisive win over Munoz could lead to a quick title shot against the winner of the Anderson Silva/Chris Weidman rematch.
UFC Fight Night 30 on October 26, 2013 airs live from Manchester England.
