Although much of the hype for tonight’s UFC Fight for the Troops 3 event has been placed on the Tim Kennedy vs. Rafael Natal and Alexis Davis vs. Liz Carmouche fights – which both fights deserve – there is one match that could leave fans on the edge of their seats.

Kickboxing champion Germaine “The Iron Lady” de Randamie takes on Amanda “Lioness of the Ring” Nunes on tonight’s preliminary card. This fight has the potential to steal the show from the other fights on the main card and become “Fight of the Night.”

Both de Randamie and Nunes good striking and have that power that can mow their opponents, though we have not necessarily seen it with de Randamie; however she comes from an extensive kickboxing background that includes 37 consecutive victories and several championships.

The Iron Lady and the Lioness are also coming off of big wins in their first stints in the octagon. De Randamie defeated Julie Kedzie back in July while Nunes defeated Sheila Gaff back in August.

Nunes said if she wins the fight she would like to fight for the title or face the winner of the Davis vs. Carmouche match.
