It did not take long for the UFC to find a replacement opponent for the injured Kelvin Gastelum.

Undefeated prospect Ryan LaFlare will step in for Kelvin Gastelum to face Court “The Crusher” McGee at the UFC on Fox 9 event, Dec. 14. LaFlare is coming off of a bin win over “The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 2“ finalist Santiago “El Rasta” Ponzinibbio at UFC Fight Night 32.

McGee will certainly be a step up for LaFlare, who has been impressive in his last two UFC outings. Still, McGee is the winner of “TUF 11″ and will be the toughest opponent LaFlare has faced in his mixed martial arts career.

LaFlare vs. McGee is expected to take place on the UFC on Fox 9 preliminary card. The event will be headlined by the rematch between UFC Flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and Josephy Benavidez.
