Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate movie trailer

Coming to pay per view, Dec. 28, UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate to star in in the “feel-good” movie of the season where they will play the best of friends … well maybe not, but watch the trailer.

Due to settings on the video, Youtube has cautioned users about sharing it on the websites. To watch the video, follow the link.

In all seriousness, this is not the typical pre-fight trailer that focuses on short clips of training and monologues. This is more of an upbeat trailer that most uses footage from “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate.”

Props to the creators of the trailer, who managed to splice in clips from “TUF” with along with title slides. Adding Queen’s “You Make Me Live” is also a nice touch to the video.

This kind of reminds me of the special remade trailers of famous movies, such as “The Shining” as a family film or “Top Gun” as a love story focusing on Maverick and Iceman. My favorite remade trailer has to be “10 Commandments I Hate About You.” which makes the classic film featuring Charlton Heston and Yul Brynner look like a teen movie.

Still, the fight between Tate and Rousey will be anything but friendly as they will be looking to tear each other a part.
