Fans who cannot wait for this weekend’s UFC 168 to watch women’s bantamweight champion “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey take on former Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight champion Miesha “Cupcake” Tate  can watch their first counter in the video above.

This fight took place in March 2012 where at the time Rousey was an up-and-comer in the Strikeforce featherweight division while Tate was sitting high on the women’s 135-pound throne. There had been speculation that Tate was set to defend her title against Sarah Kaufman, yet the Rowdy one was picked to fight the champion due to her ability to market herself.

This match would go on to change the course of mixed martial arts history and elevate the feud between these two warriors that fans would see on Twitter and “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate.”
