Louis Gaudinot vs. Phil Harris targeted for London in March

A new bout is slated to join the March 8 UFC event that is headlined by Alexander Gustafsson and Jimi Manuwa.

UFC officials announced that former Ring of Combat Flyweight champion Louis Gaudinot is scheduled to face English fighter Phil Harris at the event.

Both fighters come into the fight off of losses: Gaudinot dropped a decision to Tim Elliott back in August 2013 while Harris suffered a first-round TKO defeat against John Lineker back in October.

This could be a classic striker vs. grappler type match. Gaudinot is a fourth-degree black belt in karate while Harris has 13 submission victories. Harris also appears to have the edge when it comes to experience.

Although both men come into the fight with a loss, I do not think this is a do-or-die type bout for either fighter, barring they do something to earn the wrath of the UFC brass. Still, this should be an exciting contest.
