The UFC is scheduled to have an event set for Brazil, March 23. Although the promotion has yet to announce any matches, one competitor could not wait to spill the beans about his upcoming match.

Former Predador Kamae Heavyweight Champion and octagon veteran Fabio Maldonado announced on his Facebook page that he would be squaring off against former Ring of Combat heavyweight title holder Gian Villante at the March event.

Maldonado spent the past year rebounding from a three-fight loss streak, defeating both Roger Hollett and Joey Beltran. Villante comes into the bout off of a second-round TKO win over Cody Donovan back in November 2013.

Keep in mind that the UFC has not made an official announcement regarding the event, so there is a chance the fight could change or not even be on the card.

That said, Maldonado has won his last two bouts in Brazil and could be a nice draw for the event.
