UFC Fight Night 35 - Rockhold Makes Statement

Bouncing back from a difficult loss is one of the most challenging things any athlete has to do.

For former Strikeforce Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold, it wasn’t just about coming back after a loss, it was about making a statement.

And that statement was made.

Rockhold used a variety of leg kicks to punish Costas Phillipou into submission, taking the TKO first round victory. It was obvious that Rockhold was on another level than his middleweight counterpart, and with the win, vaulted himself back into the mix with the contenders in the division.

If Rockhold has his way, next on his fight card will be the always entertaining Michael Bisping.
