Ben Askren has words for Dana White after signing of Pat Cummins

The former Bellator welterweight champion, undefeated 12-0 Ben Askren–who was once told by UFC president Dana White that he wasn’t good enough for the UFC because ‘he hasn’t fought anybody‘, took to twitter to voice his displeasure once again after the UFC had signed 4-0 light heavyweight Pat Cummings on Thursday as a replacement to fight Daniel Cormier in the co-main event at UFC 170.

Askren tweeted, calling Dana a ‘fat bald man’ and saying his ego has gotten too big. And feeling that Dana was scared a former Bellator fighter would come into the UFC and prove that he’s the best:

The 2 time NCAA Division 1 national champion and 2008 Olympian signed a six-figure contract with ONE Fighting Championship in December of 2013, after being unable to come to terms on a contract with the UFC. This is not the first time Askren has voiced his criticism of the UFC–and more specifically, Dana White, in the past he’s made it known that he feels Dana has unfairly denied him the chance of fighting in the UFC.

Askren is slated to take on the winner of the ONE FC Welterweight title fight—between Nobatatsu Suzuki and Brock Larson—in May.
