The stacked TUF: Nations Finale card has a new addition, with bantamweights Alex Caceres and Erik Perez squaring off in a battle of promising 135-lbers. The fight is yet to be officially announced by the UFC, but sources close to the promotion have confirmed the booking, with the bout expected to be part of the main card. This news has been somewhat overshadowed by the announcement of the TUF 20 season coached by Anthony Pettis and Gilbert Melendez, but this has all the makings of an instant classic.

‘Bruce Leeroy’ is now on a 5-fight unbeaten streak, one of which being an overturned decision win over Kyung Ho Kang. Caceres is coming off arguably the most impressive win of his career, defeating the brother of the aforementioned Anthony Pettis, Sergio, via third round submission. He handed the prospect the first loss of his professional career, and is now ranked #13 in the bantamweight division as a result.

Erik Perez was widely considered a future bantamweight champion before Takeya Mizugaki halted a three fight win streak inside the Octagon and an eight fight win streak overall. ‘El Goyito’ has since gone on to bounce back with a decision win over Edwin Figueroa, and will now face a dangerous fighter in Alex Caceres who has a considerable amount of hype surrounding him. Now ranked #12 in the division, a win over Caceres could push the Mexican fighter into the top ten, and their two styles makes this an early candidate for Fight of the Night.

The card is scheduled for April 16 at the Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The order of the fights has yet to be confirmed, and the TUF Nations champion will also be crowned. The TUF Nations Finale card, as it stands, is listed below.
