ONE FC 14: War of Nations weigh-in results, women's strawweight bout scrapped, Ahmad in on short notice

ONE FC 14: War of Nations is set to take place Friday evening at Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Originally 10 scheduled fights on the card, headlined by a ONE FC Welterweight title fight between Brock Larson and Nobutatsu Suzuki, now down to 9 after the weigh-ins took place Friday and we also saw a short notice change in opponent for one of the bouts.

Women’s strawweight Sherilyn Lim missed weight in her scheduled rematch against the home country favourite, Ann Osman. Lim weighed in at 55.1 kg (121 lbs)–leading to the cancellation of the bout.

Waqar Umar (3-0) was scheduled to take on Peter Davis (7-3), but due to visa issues, he failed arrive in Malaysia. Stepping in on late replacement for Umar, would be his coach and Pakistani MMA legend, Bashir Ahmad (2-1)–who normally fights at featherweight, will take this fight at lightweight against Peter Davis.

Finally, the flyweight fight between Andrew Leone (6-2) and Shinichi Kojima (13-5-5) will now be a catchweight fight, after Leone weighed in at 58.7 kg (129 lbs).
