The UFC is coming to Orlando, FL for the first time with a stacked card. Advertised as the most the biggest free card in the promotion’s history, the main card is full of bouts with divisional implications, with the preliminary card also packed with intriguing bouts.
In the main event, Fabricio Werdum squares off with Travis Browne with the winner guaranteed a shot at the title against Cain Velasquez in the UFC’s debut in Mexico, which should occur in late 2014. The co main event sees former female bantamweight challengers look to get back on the road to a rematch with Rousey, as Miesha Tate faces Liz Carmouche. Donald Cerrone faces fellow dangerous lightweight Edson Barboza in a fight that has all the makings for Fight of the Night, and middleweights Brad Tavares and Yoel Romero look to announce themselves as a contender in the division.
Headlining the preliminary card is a battle between top 10 lightweights Khabib Nurmagomedov and Rafael Dos Anjos, with the winner advancing in the talent stacked 155lbs division. Thiago Alves makes his return against Seth Baczynski after a 25 month lay-off, and ex-Strikeforce lightweight talents Pat Healy and Jorge Masvidal will face off in an important 155lbs battle.
