“Dollface” Ashley Greenway may have some gold around her waist before she makes her debut for Invicta Fighting Championships.
According to reports, the fighter from Gastoina N.C. will battle Denver’s J.J. Aldrich, May 31, at Conflict 18 in Colombia S.C. Both fighters will contest over the promotion’s strawweight title.
Greenway comes into the bout with a 6-1 amateur record and is coming off back-to-back wins over Melissa Timmer and Charity Walker. Her only loss was against Tecia “The Tiny Tornado” Torres back in 2012.
Aldrich also has an impressive ammy record. Although she comes into the fight off of a loss against Rachael Ostovich back in November 2013, Aldrich was on a three-fight winning streak that included a first-round submission win over a lesser experienced Kalin Curran.
This should be a pretty exciting bout as both competitors have finished their fights within the first two stanzas.
In addition to Greenway vs. Aldrich, Conflict 18 will feature a bout between hometown hero Alexa Conners (2-1) and Georgia’s Annie DeCrescente (2-2) for the 145-pound title.
