Corey Anderson was crowned the winner of the TUF 19 light heavyweight bracket, defeating fellow Team Edgar castmate Matt Van Buren in the first round via strikes. The bout served as the co main event for the TUF 19 Finale and, like the Gordon-Lima finale, resulted in a quick and decisive TKO.
Anderson was able to rock Van Buren a number of times, securing a couple of takedowns and getting in a number of unanswered strikes to earn the win. He wins a UFC contract, a Harley Davidson motorcycle and proved his worth with a deadly combination of strikes.
Corey Anderson is now 3-0 as a professional, winning all three of his fights via TKO. In the house, he went to a decision in all three of his contests, but wasted little time when fighting Van Buren in the finale. ‘Gutter’, meanwhile, is now 6-3 and suffered his third first round finish loss in his last four professional contests.

Wow he’s landing some huge shots and this one is going to be over quick. Another takedown. He has the back now. More short shots on Anderson and Mario Yamasaki steps in to stop the contest. Corey Anderson is the TUF light heavyweight winner.
