Even with superstars like “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey, Miesha “Cupcake” Tate, as well recently signing a hot prospect like Holly Holm, the UFC continues to scout for talent and it looks they may have another strong Brazilian Jiu-Jistu fighter in Talita Nogueira.
According to reports, Nogueira, a BJJ world champion, is currently in talks with the UFC.
Nogueira is currently 6-0 in her professional mixed martial arts career, with four submissions and two TKOs.
Nogueira, like many other fighters, were not to happy with Rousey’s comments about how she believes that she can beat any BJJ fighter. In an interview with MMA Fighting.com, Nogueira said she believes that she can she can expose Rousey’s weaknesses.
While she is already a submission specialist, I think she could evolve into a well-rounded fighter. With the two knockout finishes, you know she has some power in her hands. It would be interesting to see how she would match up against someone like Jessica Eye, Cat Zingano or even Sara McMann. If she can rack up a few impressive victories and get the crowd behind, we say see a future fight between her and Rousey.
