Dana White: Nate Diaz can sit out and not suck any UFC whatever

Late Monday Evening, Nate Diaz tweeted out a message aimed towards one half of the main event of Wednesday’s upcoming UFC Fight Night 45 card–Donald Cerrone, a former opponent of Diaz.

Dana White replied to Nate Diaz Tuesday, in a statement posted by, saying he can sit out for as long as he wants but doesn’t like him making fun of other active fighters, who are out there to put on a show.

“Nate can do whatever he wants to do. Nate can sit out and not suck any UFC whatever, for as long as he wants to. Who cares, he’s a grown man,” White said. “Sit out for as long as you want, sit out the rest of your career, it’s your decision. But to start making fun of guys who actually like to fight, and guys who go out there and put on unbelievable fights and people love to see him? (Cowboy) steps up and does what he does. People love Cowboy Cerrone.”

“Nate wants to talk about making money, but there’s only one way to make money, and that’s fighting.”.

The 29 year old younger Diaz brother has been out of action since November of 2013, following a win over Gray Maynard. Nate Diaz (17-9) has decided to sit out due to his displeasure with his salary from the UFC. Diaz has been sending out tweets in an attempt to get the UFC to pay him more money to return, but Dana White and the UFC have not budged.
