Miesha Tate appears at charity autograph signing

Former Stirkeforce Women’s Bantamweight champion and UFC star Miesha Tate has been the subject of some positive press lately.

This last week stories were circulating that Tate had saved the mother of boyfriend and fellow UFC star Bryan Caraway. And now she’s at it again.

SHOOTMEDIA released a video of Tate attending a charity autograph signing at Nacho Daddy in Las Vegas for two police officers killed in the line of duty. According to the video description, all proceeds from the event were donated to the families of the fallen officers.

Tate said she hopes her actions can inspire others to do good things. She has appeared at several fundraisers and functions this past year.

Whether you are a fan of Tate or not, and whether you are a fan of law enforcement – which everyone should be because these folks give so much of their lives – this was a pretty good deed on her part and hopefully it does inspire people to do more.
