Video: Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier get into fight at UFC 178 media day

Ahead of their main event fight for the UFC light heavyweight title, Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier have already got into a scrap. At a media day to promote the event, Jon Jones got in the face of Cormier, even butting heads with the unbeaten contender. DC didn’t react well to it, shoving Jones, who then got angry, shoved Dave Sholler out of the way and took Cormier to the ground, wrecking the backdrop in the process.

Whether a publicity stunt or genuine animosity between the two, you need to see the video.

The two have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the incident, which has been received with mixed reception. While some fans are pumped by this incident, some question whether it was scripted and labelled it unprofessional.

The pair have exchanged words in the past and the match-up has been desired by many, with Cormier stepping in for the injured Alexander Gustafsson. Whether this incident is genuine or not is anyone’s guess, but one thing is for sure – this fight is going to be bonkers.
