UFC Fight Night 49 in Tulsa, Oklahoma provided one of the more shocking upsets of the year in MMA, when Rafael Dos Anjos knocked out Benson Henderson in the very first round of the main event. The event was the first time the UFC returned to Tulsa since UFC 4 in 1994, and the first time they held an event in the state of Oklahoma since 2009.
The $50,000 bonuses handed out four performance of the night bonuses and forgone the fight of the night, they awarded to the following:
Rafael Dos Anjos for his knockout of Benson Henderson.
Jordan Mein for his knockout of Mike Pyle.
Thales Leites for his knockout of Francis Carmont.
And Ben Saunders for his omoplata over Chris Heatherly, the first ever omoplata submission in UFC history.
UFC Fight Night 49 drew an attendance of 7,119 at the BOK Center for a live gate of $452,075.
