After losing to Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX earlier this month Luke Rockhold is really set and ready to get back into the octagon.

Luke Rockhold early Tuesday morning took Twitter and called out Michael “The Count” Bisping tweeting

“@bisping u don’t have opponent, I don’t have opponent, u talk sh*t about ‘practice’ I say we set the record straight once & for all @danawhite,”

Luke Rockhold earlier this month lost to Vitor Belfort after one very successful run in Strikeforce. After Strikeforce merged with the UFC everyone was very eager to see Luke Rockhold fight. Many people predicted it would be Rockhold vs. Anderson Silva for the middleweight title since Rockhold was the last Strikeforce middleweight champion but their was a change at hand. Rockhold made his UFC debut at UFC on FX against Vitor Belfort but was unsuccessful in the bout being knocked out half-way through the 1st round.

As for Michael Bisping he is coming off a very successful bout at UFC 159 against Allan “The Talent” Belcher. Bisping later took Twitter also and said that he is unaware of his next opponent and will keep the fans posted on when a bout will be scheduled.

Regarded as one of the best UFC Light Heavyweight fighters and the “Original Ultimate Fighter” Forrest Griffin has decided to retire from Mixed Martial Arts and from the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

After the conclusion of UFC 160 and during the UFC 160 Press Conference UFC President Dana White took the stand announced to the MMA world that Forrest will be retiring from the company. After Dana White announced the retirement of Griffin, Forrest Griffin took the stand.

“It’s been a good eight years, I guess,” Griffin said. “Biggest thing I’ve learned … when [UFC president] Dana White says retire otherwise you will blow your knee out,”

Dana White continued to add that Forrest Griffin will be staying with the UFC working behind the scenes with the company kind of like what Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell is currently doing for the company.

Forrest Griffin during his UFC career has left us with epic battles with top contenders such as the greatest bout if UFC history his debut against Stephan Bonnar (2x), Tito Ortiz (3x), Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rich Franklin.

Griffin also won the UFC Light Heavyweight championship one time in his career defeating Quinton “Rampage” Jackson at UFC 86.

He retires from Mixed Martial Arts with 19-7 win-loss record. Everyone here at Cage-Pages.com wish Forrest Griffin the very best in his future.

We all know that relationships can be hard, the classic line “can’t live with them, can’t live without them” comes to mind. Relationships have to be worked at and developed, there are good times and bad. Although this sounds like marriage counselling it is not.

The UFC just like any other company selling a product needs to promote that product. Even if the UFC is the biggest MMA promotion in the world everyone in the office still rules the daily risk that they will fade into obscurity. To garner the level of promotion needed the brand needs to constantly be exposed on a number of different outlets including; TV, radio, internet, newspapers, face to face contact ( UFC Fan Expo) are all vital.
