WOW! what a crush to the main event at UFC 163. Anthony “Showtime” Pettis has injured his knee and will be out of his Featherweight title fight against Jose Aldo at UFC 163 this coming August.

The injury was first reported by Dana White just moments ago and he also announced that The Korean Zombie Chan Sung Jung will take Pettis’s spot in the main event at UFC 163.

Chan Sung Jung was scheduled to face Ricardo Lamas at UFC 162 but with the change of events Jung will now be able to extend his training camp and prepare for the biggest fight in his UFC career against Jose Aldo.

Ricardo Lamas is still without an opponent for UFC 162. The UFC will likely keep Lamas on the card and find him another opponent rather than taking him off the card.

Everyone here at CagePages.com wish Anthony “Showtime” Pettis the best in getting healthy and fast recovery from the injury and hope to see him soon in the octagon.
