Bellator announced Thursday that Muhammad Lawal has signed to fight for Bellator and wrestle for TNA. Lawal was recently cut from Strikeforce after failing his post fight drug test at Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine. This is the biggest signing for Bellator so far and in a weak light heavyweight division, Lawal should be able to take the belt fairly easily. Another soon to be free agent is Rampage Jackson. UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones will be making his first title defense in Denver, Colorado at UFC 135 against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. The event will take place September 24th at the Pepsi Center. Also on the card is a co-main event bout between legend Matt Hughes and TUF champion Diego Sanchez. Tickets will be going on sale this week. Details available after the jump.

Rashad Evans was forced to withdraw from his UFC 128 title shot against Shogun Rua after spraining his knee in training.
