Two former cast members of The Ultimate Fighter reality series will be in action when the UFC travels to Germany for UFC 122 on November 13 in Konig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. Krzysztof Soszynski is likely to welcome Goran Reljic back to the light-heavyweight division after a two-fight slump at 185 pounds.
Former TUF winner Amir Sadollah has also signed on to face Peter Sobotta in a welterweight match up on the fight card. Sadollah will look to rebound from his UFC 114 loss to Dong Hyun Kim in a bout that saw Sadollah dominated from the opening bell.

Fan-favorite and mixed martial arts legend Wanderlei Silva was scheduled to face Japanese superstar Yoshihiro Akiyama at the upcoming “UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin” on July 3rd.
Silva is coming off of a win against Michael Bisping, but he suffered fractured ribs during training and has been forced to withdraw from his bout. Akiyama will remain on the fight card.

Last night, Court McGee became the latest mixed martial artist to be crowned winner of The Ultimate Fighter reality series. McGee earned the title after making easy work over Kris “Savage” McCray. McGee was dominant for the duration of round one before he sunk in a rear-naked choke and forced McCray to tapout at the 3:41 mark in round two.

The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada will be hosting the finale for season eleven of The Ultimate Fighter. The finale will be broadcast live and free on Spike TV as castmembers Kris “Savage” McCray (5-0) and Court McGee (8-1) battle for the season 11 crown. This will be the first season of the reality show in which both fighters in the finale had lost a fight on the show.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has made an addition to their roster with the signing of light-heavyweight Ricardo Romero, according to his manager, Mike Constantino. The report was confirmed by MMAjunkie.com. Romero’s deal is for four-fights.
“This is a dream come true!” Romero said today in a release.
The former Ring of Combat light-heavyweight and heavyweight champion is expected to make his promotional debut on a card this summer.

The long-awaited grudge match between Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans finally took place over the weekend at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Rampage and Evans finally came to blows in the night’s main event after months of trash talking and anticipation. Rashad followed his gameplan to perfection and was able to earn the nod in a unanimous decision victory. He used his speed and wrestling to outclass Rampage for a majority of the fight.

Kimbo Slice fought his last fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship at this past weekend’s ‘UFC 113: Machida vs. Shogun II’ event.
Early in the bout, Slice was in danger when he was caught in a dangerous triangle from Matt Mitrione. Slice eventually worked his way out of the submission, but a look back shows that he used some dirty tactics.
Mitrione spoke to MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani following the bout and claimed that Slice dug his thumb into his eye during the submission attempt.
