Before stepping into the octagon for the second time against Antonio Big Foot Silva, Cain Velasquez win or lose against Big Foot will walk away UFC 160 with $ 400,000 dollars richer.

MMA Junkie released the purse of all the heavyweight fighters who will competing at the UFC 160 event. The list will not include Pay-Per-View cuts and Behind the Scenes bonus.

1. Cain Velasquez: $ 400,000 dollars, no win bonus

2. Antonio “Big Foot” Silva: $ 75, 000, *if he wins $ 75,000 win bonus*

3. Junior Dos Santos:  $ 120, 000, * if he win $120,000 win bonus*

4. Mark “Super Samoan” Hunt: $ 160,00, with no win bonus

Talking about big bucks for the heavyweight fighters.

UFC 164 will take place in Milwaukee,Wisconsin on August 31st. And with a card that already has Chad “Money” Mendes vs. Clay “The Carpenter” Guida and Ben Rothwell vs. Brandon Vera. The card continues to add another exciting bout that will feature a battle of two featherweights Dustin Poirier vs. Erik Koch.

Dustin Poirier is coming back to the octagon in hopes to get back on a winning ways after his February loss to Cub Swanson. Dustin Poirier was on the right track coming over from the WEC in 2011 and bringing a start of a winning streak to the UFC with him he went on a 5-0 run and right on the edge of a title shot but was derailed with a loss to Chan Sung-Jung on UFC on Fuel TV.

Erik Koch is also looking to get back on a winning ways trying to avenge his loss to Ricardo Lamas in January with a win against Dustin Poirier in August.

UFC new-comer Daniel Cormier sat down with MMA Junkie for a Q&A session this afternoon. During the session Cormier announced that he is interested in fighting the winner of the Fabricio Werdum vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria bout at UFC on Fuel TV on June 8th.

Daniel Cormier has been subjected to a lot of rumors about him dropping down to Light Heavyweight and fight his way to a title shot against Jon “Bones” Jones. But that will have to wait for another time as Cormier is ready to continue fighting in the very talented UFC heavyweight division.

Cormier is currently 1-0 in his UFC career he last defeated Frank Mir at UFC on Fox: Henderson vs. Melendez.
