In what is shaping to be another interesting year in MMA in a long line of them, what is the super fight to make for the UFC in 2017?

The first quarter of 2017 is complete.  While things are looking up, one of the most noticeable things is that there are no tangible super fights on the horizon.  Historically, there has nearly always been a shadow of blockbuster match-ups should certain fighters continue on particularly dominant runs.  Anderson Silva and Georges St. Pierre is the most prime example.  Silva vs Jon Jones is another.

A super fight this year may be put together under different criteria: personality and style.  Dominance isn’t as integral, but it will still play a part.

While certain fighters have clamored for super fights to be a part of, besides Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez/Nate Diaz and Michael Bisping vs. Georges St. Pierre, the UFC has not granted many fighters the big payday they seek.

Should their philosophy change, here are the super fights to make in 2017.
