Mayweather vs. McGregor: Where to watch in the United Kingdom

We are just days away from the biggest fight in combat sports history and if you don’t want to miss it and watch Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor with the masses, we have you covered.

Ireland’s own Conor McGregor and American superstar Floyd Mayweather are hours away from facing off in the richest boxing fight in history. Las Vegas is awash with celebrities and sporting icons from all walks of life and from all corners of the globe.

If you were lucky enough to get a ticket then you will witness history in the making, if you did not manage to get your paws on tickets there are a number of different ways to watch the fight and take part in the action.

For my American fight brothers and sisters, there are a number of venues and places showing the fight and we have compiled them all into an easy to read list for you.

For all of us over the pond in the United Kingdom, there are not as many options for us to enjoy the fight and festivities surrounding the event but there a few places and options to consider when planning how and where you watch Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor square off.

As always the fight will be available to fans all over the U.K via pay-per-view on Sky Sports Box Office. The asking price is £19.99 for the high definition broadcast which is a huge amount lower compared to our North American friends who will be paying a whopping $99.99 for the HD broadcast.

You can also access the fight if you are not a Sky Sports subscriber via Now TV with a daily sports pass.

Now if you and some friends and family fancy a night out with some good food and great drinks there are a number of pubs that will be showing the mega fight. From London to Manchester to Scotland there is a venue for you. Check out the list below.

  • Victoria Gate casino (Leeds)

The hidden London gem

For those who like to dress up smart, eat some beautiful food and mingle with fun and friendly people there is a Garden of Eden for the combat sports fan hidden in Russel Square, London. The Grosvenor Casino in Russel Square has been a long time venue for those seeking to watch the UFC and big time boxing events.

Located in the heart of Bloomsbury, the venue has had huge success when showing live UFC events and recently was sold out for UFC 214 where Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier had their highly anticipated rematch.

Fans, celebrities and sporting journalists are among those who rub shoulders during one of these stunning events inside the Grosvenor. With not many places for the average combat fan to spend a night out watching the fight, this venue is the perfect place to enjoy a beer, burger and bet.
