Combate Americas hires Mike Pine to help with promotional expansion

Keep your eyes focused on Combate Americas ladies and gentlemen. They have hired a big gun to help expand the promotion.

Combate Americas announced on Wednesday via press release that it has named Mike Pine as the Hispanic Mixed Martial Arts sports and media franchise’s first-ever Chief Revenue Officer.

Pine is coming off a two-and- a-half- year tenure as GM, Integrated Partnerships for FanDuel and
was responsible for breaking unprecedented ground for the UFC by securing advertising clients like Bud Light and Harley Davidson.

Pine will report to Combate Americas CEO, and original founder of the UFC, Campbell McLaren.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mike Pine, an authentic trailblazer in the world of sports and
entertainment brand partnerships, to Combate Americas,” said McLaren.

“Mike’s incredible track record and extensive book of high-level relationships with marketers from worldwide, renowned brands across a wide range of product categories, speak for themselves, and we are looking forward to having him spearheading our sales efforts as we continue to aggressively expand our footprint across the globe with a fast- growing schedule of live and special events, and television programming for 2018 and beyond.”

Mike will be responsible for building Combate Americas’ portfolio of sponsor partners which have included the U.S. Army; Aspira A Mas and consumer electronics pioneer Altec Lansing. The promotion is hoping that Pine can do with them what he has managed to do while in his previous roles.

Combate Americas continues to grow and this announcement will only further help the growth of the promotion. The next stop for the promotion will be Friday, Sep. 15 in Redlands, California for Combate 17.
